Get guided coaching on a wide range of exercises, with new movements each class to develop strength in different ways. Each workout is designed to improve a specific aspect of strength that benefits anyone from beginning to intermediate lifters.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It’s a small group class (8 people max) combining interval training for cardio fitness and sensible strength training with individualized coaching.

  • Although interval training is incorporated in our class it is not a HIIT class per se. The cardio portion will resemble HIIT, but the intensity will vary day to day and person to person.

  • We’ve tested this class with seniors of various ages with successful outcomes. That said, this would be good class for a reasonably fit senior with solid base aerobic fitness. We use stations for each exercise, allowing everyone to proceed at their own pace during the interval “work” time.

  • As with seniors, we recommend everyone has a base level of aerobic fitness before starting. This is a great class for beginners as there is no feeling like you are falling behind in class. Plus you will learn proper lifting technique.

  • The intervals are set up to be challenging for cardio, but ultimately you decide how hard to push yourself. For the strength training, we make sure you have a weight that is challenging yet with good form.

  • Yes, by altering the interval time length and thus the intensity at which you workout. The strength training portion is precisely planned to coincide with the day’s focus and intensity level.

  • Typically big lifts like barbell squats, deadlifts, bench press, or the Olympic lifts will be less commonly used and only for those who’s strength level matches them. We will however, use variations of these lifts to match your strength levels.

  • Our unique class design allows for adequate attention given to no more than 4 people at one time. Also with Coach Jerry’s extensive experience in training, he has a keen eye for effectively correcting exercise form.
